Description John B 2006-12-06 17:38:05 UTC
Version: 1.6.2 (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

This is, in a way, an expansion on (but not a duplicate of, in my opinion) bug 124241. Personally, I'd be able to get a lot more use out of the Konsole notification options if I could specify a different set of notifications for the active (focused) window. The main two things that pop to mind are the beep/lightbulb ones, of course.

Ancient versions of KDE and Konsole. This feature is present in KDE5 (not sure about KDE4).

I haven't seen KDE 5's Konsole, but I can say that in KDE 4 (Konsole 2.8.5 running in KDE 4.8.5, for the record) the functionality of 124241 is implemented, but not what's being requested in this feature. For example, you can't have separate notification options for silence notification in the focused window.

That said, as the OP on this issue I'll definitely agree that 124241 solves 90% of the use cases, so I won't make too sad of a face if the current Konsole is the same way and y'all still decide you want to close this out. :)
