Description Dawid Wróbel 2006-03-25 17:32:34 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.1)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I wish Konsole would let to turn off bell notification on active (focused) window. Currently, when using application such as irssi irc client it is very usable

I wish Konsole would have an option to _not_ notify me in case the bell occured in the window that is currently focused. I am using irssi as my irc client, it bells each time someone uses my nickname and is very usuable when my irssi konsole is out of the focus (I can see that someone has written something to me), but when it is focused and I am chatting actively it's just too annoing.

The second indention is actually the one I wanted to place here, the first one is here by accident, sorry.

Sensible suggestion.

This wish is quite old, and I think the reqeusted ability is already in kDE4 konsole. Open "Configure Notifications" dialog, and uncheck all the actions for the "Bell in visible session" event.
