After getting used by the behavior from amarok, i would only find it natural if i could middle click on the kmix icon in kicker to mute the sound

Middle button is already taken by "show main window". Do you have any solution for that (except for "add another configuration option" or "remove the show window feature")?

since mute is used much more often, i would say, just use double click to open the main window.
I use the main window once every week, but i mute and unmute more than one time a day (specialy with my laptop, since im often at places where he has to be muted)
