Description Martin Fernau 2006-11-01 12:57:50 UTC
Version: 0.12.3 (using KDE 3.5.5, Gentoo)
Compiler: gcc version 3.4.5 (Gentoo 3.4.5-r1, ssp-3.4.5-1.0, pie-8.7.9)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.17-gentoo

I periodically lost my connection to the icq-server. I don't know why, but it happens over 10 times a day which is a little annoying.
Can I send more information like network traffic informations? Is there a way to find out the reason why kopete lost its connection to the server?

Regards

Most probably due to bug 136566. Merge the latest kdenetwork packages from Gentoo (kdenetwork-3.5.5-r1) and see if the problem still exists. Feel free to reopen then.
