Description Bob 2006-10-29 19:21:16 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

There is no way to add inline links to you out going message.

I mean somthing like this:

<a href='http://google.com'>foo</a>

The easiest way is to just type the url into your message text.
   example: http://www.google.com.

modern mail readers know how to put a real link in for that on the receiving end.

Or, do you really want an "insert link" feature added to the HTML composer?

Yes, I really want to insert links in the middle of my sentences, without have to break up my thoughts by showing full urls all the time.

They way you see links in Wikipedia articles.

So to clarify, you are asking for an "Insert Link" feature for HTML composing.
Comment 4 Bob 2006-10-31 02:22:45 UTC
Yes. Something that does what instert link does in Thunderbird, Outlook, Evolution, Gmail, etc.

Perhaps embedded links would have been a better term.

well, in my opinion, best way is as follows:

Owning computers nowadays is a bit like having a pet rabbit,
It needs to be fed with right stuff or it gets sick.

Try Firefox [http://www.mozilla.com/firefox] --- the right stuff!
