Description michal 2006-09-30 18:24:33 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package
OS: Linux

I know there are other bugs for KMail crashing after closing it but this stacktrace is quite different from what I saw before so I let you decide wheter this is a duplicate or not.

BTW this stacktrace is quite strange (havent seen that short before from KDE app). I have all KDE packages built with debugging information.

Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/libthread_db.so.1".

It still happens on 3.5.5:

which protocol do you use? I found an old pop3 bug which may be related:

Since this is an very old bug with no new reports, I close it. Kmail has changed much in the last years, backtraces are not matching the source anymore. There are up to date bugreports anyway.
