If Knode (rare, haven't seen some time any) or Kontact (happens because of KMail) crashes all info about read articles will be lost for groups viewer - if I open KNode again in Kontact, Knode will show a mass of unread articles in groups view. Note, that in articles list view all messages are marked as read as they should. This creates a lot of confusion as user has to walk through all groups and either check new articles (this will correct unread articles counter) or mark all articles as read. It's very annoying for users with many groups subscribed.

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug.
