Description madman 2006-09-16 22:06:57 UTC
Version: 1.9.3 (using KDE 3.5.4, Gentoo)
Compiler: gcc version 3.4.6 (Gentoo 3.4.6-r1, ssp-3.4.5-1.0, pie-8.7.9)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.17-ck1

What do you think about an idea - for the sake of consistency - using system Trash implementation for deleted email messages?
Each deleted email would appear as a file in trash:/ and its name could include From, Subject and Date fields.

Of course it would be optional, to make users comfortable with kmail's own trash happy. Using a common trash bin would tie kmail closer to KDE.

Please comment on the idea and the possibility for it to get to KDE4 :)
