A user who has an e-mail thread with a contact (who also has an Jabber/IM address) should be able to continue his conversation by chat by opening a new chat window.

The chat window should not be pre-filled imho.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
