Description Kiyoshi Aman 2006-09-05 00:18:08 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

I would like to see the Win and Context Menu keys operate as hot keys in and of themselves, as this would allow a Windows-like mapping of functionality. i.e., Win itself would pop up the KDE menu, but Win+L would pop up the logout window and Win+R would pop up the run dialog. Currently, KDE [as of 3.5.2; my machine is not capable of connecting to the internet at this point in time, so keeping up to date would be more trouble than it's worth] only accepts Win as a modifier and not as both a regular key and a modifier key.
