Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.3) Installed from: FreeBSD Ports OS: FreeBSD Kscreensaver won't start automatically after X minutes like it should, UNLESS I go to control panel, change delay, apply and close control panel. This is only working for the current session.
If I go to control panel, change the time forth and back to where it was, the screen saver will also then start. But it's annoying to be forced to re-apply screen saver settings every login.
It seems the screen saver does start ... when there is no other computer active on the local network. Is the saver sensitive to network traffic??
disregard that last
