Description Stephan Sokolow 2006-08-04 08:47:29 UTC
Version: 1.3.91 (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 3.4.5 (Gentoo 3.4.5-r1, ssp-3.4.5-1.0, pie-8.7.9)
OS: Linux

There is currently no way to easily open a second GwenView window displaying a given image. (For example, two compare two images)

I propose that the context menus for the image list and the main image view should gain an "open in new window" option which opens a new GwenView window (or a new process, if loading time can be reduced) displaying the desired image.

Gwenview already has a way to open multiple images in the same window for comparison purposes. Is that not good enough?

Actually, we already have a ticket open tracking a dedicated dual/split comparison UI. Duping to that, since that's really what Stephan wants anyway/
