When trying to connect to the icq server the server responds that I use a too old client and that I should report this on bugs.kde.org.

German: "Der ICQ-Server ist der Meinung, Sie verwenden einen zu alten Client. Melden Sie das bitte unter bugs.kde.org"

I can confirm using debian unstable packages. kopete 0.11.3 using kde 3.5.4.

It's already fixed in SVN see bug 131598
