Description Alexander Sikamiotis 2006-08-01 06:56:13 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.3)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

I'm using suse 10.1. I login normally with kopete before midnight (it was still July 31) in ICQ. After a few hours (and the day changed) I reboot. The same kopete 0.11.3 that comes with suse 10.1 fails to login with a message that sais "server thinks that the client is too old, report this to bugs.kde.org"..

I upgrade to 0.12.1 so as to solve the problem because I see a similar problem was fixed for earlier versions. To my surprise the problem persists and is probably server induced. As a result I cannot use kopete to login to ICQ and I'm temporarily using other clients.
