Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.2) Installed from: Gentoo Packages Compiler: gcc (GCC) 3.4.5 (Gentoo 3.4.5-r1, ssp-3.4.5-1.0, pie-8.7.9) OS: Linux Ok, i just wanted to set up my (imap) eMail accounts in kmail. You know that here are multipl login technologies to choose from, like simple text, LOGIN. etc. So when i chose "LOGIN", kmail first asked me for a password, so i typed the password. Then it told me that kio_imap4 had been compiled without SASL support, so i had to click OK. And then, it asked me for a password again, and when you enter it, you'll get again the message about kio_imap4 and so on. Because these are all modal dialogs, i can't get to the options menu and turn "LOGIN" off again, and when I start kmail again, it'll immediately prompt me for a bloody password! I can't get my email, i can't change the settings back, this is just sooooooo stupid!! This is probably the most annoying and avoidable bug i've ever seen!
