Description Iñaki Baz Castillo 2006-05-07 16:42:14 UTC
Version: desconocido (using KDE 3.5.2, Debian Package 4:3.5.2-2 (testing/unstable))
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.15

It could be nice if amaroK shows the cover in the entire albums of the playlist. I'm speaking just about entire albums, but not about partial or not organized albums in the playlist. So the only case I mean is when the user selects and album in the "Collection" tab and dropes it in the playlist (or press "Add to playlist"). If the user adds another artist's song inside an album the cover simply dissapears.

The purpose of this is to show easily the differents albums in the playlist and recognize them faster. For example it could be useful when loading two albums of the same artist in the playlist: it takes some time to me to recognize both of them if they are together.

Note: See the attached image to understand the idea.

Note: I reported a previous wish but the idea has changed so I've opened another wish and closed the other one. The previous wish was: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=126700

Sorry, no way we could implement such a ginormous feature without it being too slow. Anyway, I don't like the idea.

No today!

though the idea looks nice to me (maybe slightly different layout could be used to make it easier to grasp the idea) - hopefully it will be reconsidered someday :)

yeah, that's a cool idea.
