Version: 1.3.9 (using KDE 3.5.1, Debian Package 4:3.5.1-2 (testing/unstable)) Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.15-1-k7 First launched as root, I could not exit ksysV, nor could I shut down the machine. Power off was the last resource. Launched as user, I also could not exit ksysV. Power off will be the last resource.
I confirm. Trying to close the window (either with "X" button or with "close ALT+F4" by kwin) didn't do anything. I had to "killall ksysv".
I confirm. This was reported in Ubuntu by some users: https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/kdeadmin/+bug/37244/+index
It seams that bug #125802 is the duplicate bug of this one.
