Description Marius 2005-12-03 11:36:57 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.0)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux

First of all i must just say that i absolutely love the random assignment of access keys that was added in 3.5. Now i barely need to use the touchpad on my laptop. There is one thing though. I am a heavy user of tabs and i miss the possibility of opening the link i am following using access keys in a new tab.

Something like this:
click "ctrl"
click "g" while holding down shift opens the link in a new tab

Dear user,

KHTML (and KJS) was a long time more or less unmaintained and got removed in KF6.

Please migrate to use a QWebEngine based HTML component.

We will do no further fixes or improvements to the KF5 branches of these components beside important security fixes.

For security issues, please see:

https://kde.org/info/security/

Sorry that we did not fix this issue during the life-time of KHTML.

Greetings
Christoph Cullmann
