Description greatbunzinni 2005-11-03 13:52:00 UTC
Version: 0.9.3 (using KDE KDE 3.4.3)

I write usenet posts in a couple of languages. Right now, it isn't possible to define the spellchecker's language for each post a user ir writing. So, in effect, what happens is that if a user writes a post in the spellchecker's language, the spellchecker will work as expected. If the user writes a mail in a language other than the spellchecker's language, the spellchecker will not work (will identify everything as an error) and the user will not be able to choose the spellchecker's language.

It would be nice if KNode had an option to select which language it supported and if KNode's post composer had a slidebar in the toolbar which would enable the user to select the spellchecker's language. KDE's multilingual users would greatly appreciate this functionality. I believe it is easily implemented because KMail offers this feature.
