Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.2) Installed from: SuSE RPMs OS: Linux When i open korganizer (or kontact), it always tries to display three (3) very small datepickers. Moving the border between datepicker frame and calendar frame a little bit to the right, two (2) datepickers (with a good readable width) appear. So far so good. After quitting korganizer (or kontact) and reopening it, the three (3) datepickers came back :-( So the number of "choosen" datepickers are not remembered. I always have to rearrange my datepickers.
Do you still have this problem?
Yes. But with 3.5.2 not so often as before. Mostly the last amount of datepickers are remembered. As far as you do not reduce the display to ONE datepicker. Then two datepickers will appear, the next time you open kontact. Great confusion comes up, when you set your layout in kontact. Close contact and open korganizer standalone (f.e. from the systray icon). Then it is posible that you get 2x6 and more datepickers.
Do you mind if I mark it as dup for bug 85048? The cause is the same, only your bug report suggests a solution by saving the number of calendars.
... which is hard to do, I realize, if you run KOrganizer with another geometry than before.
I think, we talk about the same. I don't mind which bug # is used. You can mark is as a dup. What about a config option for the datepickers to specify the desired numbers of datepickers a user want to have? The choosen number is display. When the geometry is to small for this, they will be cut-off. Changing the number in the config (may a option of "layout"), the problem is solved by the user himself.
