Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.91) Installed from: Gentoo Packages The day/week selector at the top-left of the calendar view of Kontact will occasionally try to show two months at once. Going to the Todo list and back usually fixes the problem.
This is a feature, not a bug. If the left part gets wider, we'll show two calendars. I guess this is what you're referring to?
Then the bug is in how it works. Sometimes there's two, sometimes one... Both with the same size, which IMO is too small for two.
Yes, I also had this several times. On startup korganizer would squeeze two month pickers in the space where one one usually fits. As soon as I move the splitter, everything works fine again. Reinhold

This problem still exists in KDE 3.5.9 with kontact: I have enlarged the part with the datepickers so that it shows 6 months. But when I switch to another component e.g. tasks and back to the calendar part there are only four (but wider) datepickers (so the space used is the same). When I am lucky (that means sometimes) switching to the kmail component and back to the calendar brings back my 6 datepickers, but using any other component again reduces the number to 4. That's somewhat annoying and hinders the workflow.
can not be reproduced in KDE 4.1. Closing.
Please reopen! Can be reproduced in KDE 4.3 RC2. When I drag the sidebar in calendar view to show two small daypickers, close kontact and reopen it, there's only one wide daypicker. I drag the border "one pixel" to the right and it switches to two small daypickers but when I open kontact the next time it's only one wide daypicker again.
