Description Martin Steigerwald 2005-09-21 09:59:10 UTC
Version: 1.8.2 (using KDE KDE 3.4.2)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

KMail should use KWallet asynchronously.

Currently seems to use it synchronously which leads to problems like described in bug #105909. It may also lead to bugs like bug #102464.

The user interface of KMail is not accessible as long as a KWallet password dialog is opened. IMHO KWallet dialog should not be blocking the user interface of KMail. Its only the email transfers that need to wait until authentication details can be revealed from KWallet.

Sorry, I completely failed to read the topic of bug 102464. Of course this bug is a duplicate of bug 102464. I would mark it myself as duplicate, but it doesn't seem that bugzilla would let me.
