Description Nadav Kavalerchik 2005-07-17 12:44:20 UTC
Version: (using KDE )
Installed from: KDE 3.4.2
OS: Search

user comment, in jpeg metadata file properties view/editbox, should be saved in Exif.Image.UserComment tag and not just in JPEG's COM tag. (like all the other tags that follows exif specs)

I've noticed this too, still exists in 3.5.3. I would like to see more editable fields such as usercomment, description, etc. I've managed to get a couple working but user comment is giving me problems still, once I get it working I want to submit the kfileplugin back to kde.

In the meantime, find where your kde is installed and look for kde/share/services/kfile_jpeg.desktop and edit it. Look for PreferredItems=User comment, etc, etc, etc and you can change the order of that list to put the comment line first so you can see it in the infolist view
