Description Claude Jones 2005-06-19 23:22:13 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.1)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux

Here's the basic scenario. Open Kontact. Click on reply for a particular message. Type response, and click send. The app crashes and this is the backtrace. I've noticed a few older reports that are similar, but not the same. Several others on the kde-redhat list are reporting same. This is after updating from Fedora Core 3 to Fedora Core 4. One thing we've discovered is that opening only the Kmail client solves the problem.

Comment 1 Colin J Thomson 2005-06-20 01:39:31 UTC
FWIW, I see this problem with a (Clean install not an upgrade) of FC4 with kde-rehat's RPM's
Comment 2 emer77 2005-06-21 03:41:31 UTC
same problem. FC3 upgrade to FC4, with kde-redhat's RPMs
Comment 3 Sam Johnson 2005-06-21 13:18:29 UTC
Yes, Im an upgrader also and have the same problem, when sending mail with Kontact it crashes, but sending mail from KMail alone works fine.
