Version:           1.8.50 (using KDE 3.4.89 (CVS >= 20050314), compiled sources)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.4 (pre 3.3.5 20040809)
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.8-24.14-default

(close to but not exactly bug #33770)

I have been using pop3 accounts, but recently changed to
local account using fetchmail.

I have noticed that I have to restart kmail to get the most recent mails.
- Manual check does not work.
- Enable interval mail checking (1 min) does not work.
File location is /var/mail/roger
I am using procmail lockfile /var/mail/roger.lock

With
# lsof /var/mail/roger
I can see that kmail keeps this file open all the time, can mail be delivered? (the lock file is released)

Haven't had this problem in a while...
And kmail does not lock any folder forever.
So I guess it is fixed
