Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.2) Installed from: Gentoo Packages Compiler: gcc (GCC) 3.3.5-20050130 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.5.20050130-r1, ssp-3.3.5.20050130-1, pie-8.7.7.1) OS: Linux I would like to be able to easily get the full path of a file. If I find a file and want to maek a note about it in some text file, I'm wanting to copy and paste its full pathname. Currently, that involves copying and pasting the path in the address bar, typing a /, then copying and pasting the filename from the properties dialog. That's convoluted. Better would be a copyable field in the properties dialog containing the full path. And while I'm at it, let me also suggest that all that info in the properties dialog should be copyable (i.e. a non-editable textbox instead of a label).
Just right-click copy the file icon to get the path name into the clipboard
Oh, neat! But I wonder if that's undiscoverable? Furthermore, I usually don't want to copy the file: part of it, or maybe I want to copy some part of the full path, which I would be able to do if the whole thing were in a textbox.
