Description Nicolas de Bari Embriz G. R. 2005-04-13 02:38:10 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)
Installed from: FreeBSD Ports
OS: FreeBSD

This problem started on Kde 3.4

When trying to use the gpg pluging over a chat using ICQ protocl, the kopete client ask 3 times for the passphrase and then just say that it could verify the password. With MSN gpg works fine but both clients most be kopete.

on KDE 3.3 the gpg plugin was working fine also when chating with clients that where using the miranda ICQ client on Windows

I can confirm gpg-encryption is broken in kopete 0.10 with ICQ with the same symptoms the reporter sees. Worked quite well in the kopete that shipped with KDE 3.3.2
Comment 2 Will Stephenson 2005-04-13 09:26:54 UTC
The reason for the break is bug 102880
