Version: 3.2.0 (using KDE 3.3.0, SuSE) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.4 (pre 3.3.5 20040809) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.8-24.10-default I am using KDevelop 3.3 on Linux, and Exceed V7.0 (on Windows) as my X server. I am having a problem with selecting characters using the keyboard - only when the active editor is the "embedded advanced text editor". Whenever I hold down the SHIFT key, and try to select text using the arrow keys, nothing happens. (I can select text using the mouse, and I can use the SHIFT+arrow technique in other applications, such as "gedit"). The same bug exists in "kate" and "kwrite".
This is KDevelop 3.2.0, sorry.
Like I told you before, this is not a KDevelop bug. This is either a KDE bug or a Exceed bug.

Is this problem still reproducible using more recent software version like kdevelop/kde 4?
