Description pierre 2005-03-22 21:22:12 UTC
Version: 1.8 (using KDE 3.4.0 Level "a" , SUSE 9.2 UNSUPPORTED)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.4 (pre 3.3.5 20040809)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.5-7.145-default

Hi

It would be nice that KMail launch the "new search" dialog when you click on the "Searches" top folder in the tree view.
That is the behaviour I expected it to have when I launched KMail the first time...

Thanks for reading me, and continue your great work on KMail !

That would be annoying. Imagine all those clicks when you were trying to reach the folder above or below.
Comment 2 Pinaraf 2005-03-23 17:26:50 UTC
And what about having it through an option or with a double-click instead of a simple click ?
Comment 3 S. Burmeister 2005-03-23 18:28:25 UTC
What about simply having a context-menu for the item "search results", including New Search, Remove all Searches and some other things that might come to somebody's mind.

We could perhaps the current HTML page shown when clicking on the folder with
a new one, providing some useful links :
- New search
- New mail
- Fetch (is it the right english term ?) mails
and so on...

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
