Description Martin Eitzenberger 2005-02-24 11:03:25 UTC
Version: 1.7.2 (KDE 3.3.2) (using KDE KDE 3.3.2)
Compiler: gcc-Version 3.4.4 20041128 (prerelease) (Debian 3.4.3-3)
OS: Linux

It would be nice if there is the possibility to oppress the "Unknown host ..." Messageboxes (in detail: To change, how connection errors to mail-servers are handled)... I use KMail on my notebook integrated in Kontact, and I'm often without connection to the internet, and so I don't want to click away five useless boxes wich tell me that I can't connect to the mail-servers without internet-connection available ;-)

A good solution would be, to add a "Report Errors" Selection in the Mailbox-Details with options like "Messagebox", "OSD", "Don't report" or something like that. I think this isn't so hard to realise and would make many users of mobile computers make happy...

Have Fun and thanks for a great Mail-App!
Martin
