Übrigens habe ich dieses Verhalten schon in der 3.3 beta 2 festgestellt. Wohin gegen die 3.2.3 und davor ohne dieses Problem daher gekommen sind. In short and in English: Kicker crashes often without apparent reason. It did not happen with KDE 3.2.3 but has happened since KDE 3.3 beta 2. Same here Just downloaded the SuSE RPMs and I have the same problem, both with my KDE 3.2.3 settings and with fresh settings (~/.kde renamed to ~/.kde.old)... Maybe, just maybe this is a duplicate of bug 87484 It could be that it's not kicker itself that was crashing. Do you use any 'dangerous' applets? (like kickerpager, for example?) My applets in Kicker are: KAMix 0.0.7, SuSE Watcher, SuSE Plugger, KWallet, amarok or juk, Kopete and KMail. After over one week working with kde 3.3.1 on SuSE 9.2 seems the bug is resolved. I will reopen the bug-report if it does continue to crash in the next weeks.
