use the application's "report bug" dialog - it got all the informations And when the "application" doesn't exist? Like for typos found in KDE Help Center texts. /rob I think, this feature is possible by storing more information about the user in the database and give them back while he starts a bugreport. I also had now some bugs for the kicker and kdesktop in KDE 4.0.1 I think, this isn't a big deal, after implementing it once, because the userdatabase has also stored some useful informations now and the database has to be connected now too by commiting a page. This would be a much welcome feature. Currently, there are too many redundant steps to filing a bug. Actually, I think that this is a dupe but I cannot find the other bug that I had seen on this subject. this could probably be done as a bugzilla extension *** Bug 97015 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 96137 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 263505 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 273006 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Basically the reasoning I gave in the other bugreport applies here. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 62765 *** |
