Screengrab showcasing

Hovering over an item in the favorites list produces a tooltip with the name of the item. This tooltip is displayed to the right of the entire kicker menu, instead of over the icon.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open kicker
2. hover over an item of the favourites menu
3.  wait for toolptip to appear.

OBSERVED RESULT
Tooltip appears to the right of the entire kicker menu

EXPECTED RESULT
Tooltip appears near the place of the icon.


KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.1 with patch from https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=482736 applied
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0
Qt Version: 6.6.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Spectacle makes tooltips disappear, so I had to take a picture of the screen. Sorry for quality.

This appears to be fixed as of current git master, possibly earlier.

Follow up issue

Well, yes (6.2.2) , but it still isn't particularly useful.
The tooltip appears, but disappears immediately if it appears under the cursor.

On my system the tooltip is placed outside the screen, left the Kicker.

After updating to 6.2.3, I see the same. 
I'm not sure it's outside the screen though, I think I see the tooltip empty, to the left of the icon.
Qt 6.7.3, wayland.

Yes, that's Bug  495262.
