I keep forgetting to post this: Operating System: Fedora Linux 40 KDE Plasma Version: 5.92.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.248.0 Qt Version: 6.6.1 Kernel Version: 6.8.0-0.rc0.20240112git70d201a40823.5.fc40.x86_64 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 24 × AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-Core Processor Memory: 62.7 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT Is Dolphin in per-folder sorting mode, or global sorting mode? You can see in its config dialog. It's set to "Use common display style for all folders", I swear it was set to remember display style for each folder though... I found something interesting. If I go in a folder and click on the "Modified" column to sort, and restart dolphin, it will not remember the settings. BUT, if I do the same sorting, but using the Right Click -> Sort By -> Modified and relaunch Dolphin, THEN it remembers. I can reproduce. Operating System: EndeavourOS KDE Plasma Version: 5.93.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.249.0 Qt Version: 6.7.0 Kernel Version: 6.7.3-arch1-2 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 12 × AMD Ryzen 5 5500U with Radeon Graphics Memory: 5,6 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon Graphics |
