This only happens if the rotoscoped image has a different resolution than the project. If the project has the same resolution than the image a transform effect does not change the rotoscoped area. Bugs 455296 and 455288 describe the same issue Thanks for your report. I started working on this issue and have an almost working patch. I hope to push the fix to MLT by the end of the week. It will be included in today's daily development AppImage build.
