Sentry Crash Report:

Description Nate Graham 2022-11-03 21:57:58 UTC
It shows two things:
1. The name of the currently-playing media, or "Paused"
2. the current playback time

#1 can be moved into the window title, which would also be nice in general to make the text more descriptive for users of traditional Task Managers

#2 can be displayed beside or below the plsyback scrubber, which is the more typical UI style for media playback apps
Comment 1 Harald Sitter 2022-11-06 12:51:41 UTC
If we move the playback time below the scrubber it makes no practical difference, we'll still occupy a line height's worth of space, no?
Comment 2 Nate Graham 2022-11-06 15:55:22 UTC
True, I guess it would have to be on the side, like Elisa and VLC have it.
Comment 3 Nate Graham 2025-04-13 20:48:33 UTC
This has been fixed in the upcoming 25.08 release.
