I just switched to the Wayland session (Debian testing) and also encountered that session restore isn't working anymore. The only restored application is Firefox somehow. Not restored: konsole, kmail, ksysguard. Running Plasma 5.25.1 from experimental. I enabled systemd boot for KDE in the past if that makes a difference. Thank you for confirming Shmerl! (In reply to Shmerl from comment #2) > I enabled systemd boot for KDE in the past if that makes a difference. What do you mean by that so I can confirm if I've done that as well. See: https://blog.davidedmundson.co.uk/blog/plasma-and-the-systemd-startup/ >I just switched to the Wayland session (Debian testing) and also encountered that session restore isn't working anymore. It is know that wayland will not have session restore. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 436318 *** (In reply to Shmerl from comment #4) > (In reply to John E from comment #3) > > > > What do you mean by that so I can confirm if I've done that as well. > > See: https://blog.davidedmundson.co.uk/blog/plasma-and-the-systemd-startup/ Oh I did not know about that, thank you!
