Videos in the FF browser are of course just one example and not for each video player you can set the volume in-before hand. Other examples are applications, which only sporadically play sound, and thus only appear in the list for a very short time. There are of course more examples, but I think those already justify an implementation. That should be possible to do using the stream restore database from pulseaudio. However that's a potentially _very_ long list of programs, so not sure how to present that in a nice manner *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 407650 *** |
