STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. disable touchpad via keyboard (my laptop has a special key to disable the touchpad) 2. using a mouse or a touchscreen, open system settings > input devices > touchpad ("Device enabled" option is unchecked, as expected) 3. check "Device enabled" and apply the change OBSERVED RESULT touchpad is still desabled EXPECTED RESULT touchpad should be re-enabled SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: KDE neon Unstable Edition KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.80 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.84.0 Qt Version: 5.15.3 Graphics Platform: Wayland ADDITIONAL INFORMATION possibly related to bug 399186
