It also looks a bit like on the duplicated layer you might have to click inside the exact bounds of the duplicated layer. *** Bug 408448 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I noticed this too - In the Undo History the Duplicate Nodes step takes several seconds to appear, however if you click on a previous operation in that time span, the new duplication step instantly appears and the layer becomes editable. Pressing Ctrl+Z before it finishes seems to cancel the step entirely however. Hi, I can't reproduce this one in Krita 4.2.2appimage. I guess this bug was fixed at the same time of this one https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=408593 affecting also layer duplication and move/transform tools.
