maybe related: tooltips of plasma panel show window decoration immediately after login until some part of the panel is clicked. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.14.90 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.54.0 Qt Version: 5.12.0 To clarify, this only happens when hovering on an icon after hovering on another one, not when I leave the panel between two 'hoverings'. (In reply to mthw0 from comment #2) > To clarify, this only happens when hovering on an icon after hovering on > another one, not when I leave the panel between two 'hoverings'. I can confirm. Tooltips of pager widget and battery applet in the system tray are affected. However I can't confirm the failure shown in your screenshot. Just the tooltip size is incorrect here. I cannot reproduce this on Xorg at all. (In reply to mthw0 from comment #5) > Are both sessions affected exactly the same? I cannot reproduce this on Xorg > at all. yes, same bugs on both sessions. I don't seem to have this problem anymore. Can anyone confirm? I can reproduce the bug with the User Switcher widget and the Pager shown in the atached screen recording. Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.15.90 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.58.0 Qt Version: 5.13.0 beta3 Cannot reproduce with current git master. Can you? New screenshot
I do still have an issue, that looks like "New screenshot". It is Plasma 5.21.3 though. Created attachment 136871 [details]
Another issue
Another thing I noticed, that there is something wrong with the shadow at the top right corner of the tooltip. Or the entire right side? See the latest attachment.
reported as bug 416048 and bug 429057 Ah yup. The original issue is indeed Bug 416048. And the shadow glitch issue is Bug 429057. BTW Patrick, feel free to mark duplicates yourself. You're quite adept at bug triage and I trust you. :) *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 416048 *** |
