Is that on X11 or Wayland? (In reply to Martin Flöser from comment #1) > Is that on X11 or Wayland? X11. Created attachment 115436 [details]
Global menu going off the screen with long menus.
I can confirm on X11. Also, the same issue happens with long menus and nested submenus even when the button is on the left side. Hiding the submenu and making it reappear causes it to show up correctly next time. I've attached a video showing the issue. Forgot to mention: I'm using version 5.13.90 right now, but it was already happening for at least a few releases. *** Bug 399432 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** X11 here too. KDE Plasma Version: 5.13.90 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.50.0 Qt Version: 5.11.2 *** Bug 405632 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I think this is a duplicate of bug Bug 376008, which has been reported under plasmashell/global menu. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=376008 *** Bug 451131 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 450654 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 376008 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Lowering priority despite 5 duplicates because this is a fairly niche, non-default setting. *** Bug 471847 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 391815 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
Created attachment 113173 [details] Global menu going outside of screen. There is only one monitor. If the global menu is relocated to be on the right, the global menu will still try to go right and even go out of screen, like in the attached picture.
