Description dmr drk 2015-09-29 14:22:30 UTC
dolphin information panel shows file metada two or three times.
this causes high cpu usage, when you select a big text file ( specially pdf )

Reproducible: Sometimes

Yeah... that bug's been around for a while.

Been fixed in baloo-widgets 5.3

I personally doubt if it will be back-ported to 4.* ... you'll have to wait on a developer to answer that one :)

To my knowledge, there will not be any further Baloo releases which are based on kdelibs 4.x.

i disabled baloo and still occur.

Unfortunately disabling baloo (indexing) will have no effect. Dolphin uses 'baloo-widgets' to display the file meta-data.
