Can add that we've had this reported via the Steam forums too, for a 1280x720 screen. http://steamcommunity.com/app/280680/discussions/0/617329150704713605/ I agree with the 600px sugestion, if it can be done in a way which doesn't impact the layout too much. bug 341620 takes a more general look at large dialogs but I haven't marked this as a duplicate because not being able to use the New Image dialog in particular blocks users with smaller screens from using Krita. Fixed in 3.0 because the dialog is much smaller there. Firstly thanks and I look forward to using Krita 3.1 and testing 3.0 if I have time. Secondly and sorry to be a downer, I used to be more optimistic about Open Source not repeating the same mistakes, but is there a code comment or design note warning developers to ensure the dialog (or dialogs) continues to work on smaller screens in the future? I don't expect to have the best experience, I only want to be included and for it to be possible to run Krita on Netbooks or whatever other odd screen sizes are out there. |
