digiKam 4.11.0 Windows installer is available for download : http://download.kde.org/stable/digikam/digiKam-installer-4.11.0-win32.exe.mirrorlist Same issue here. Conversely, selecting Import>Add images - brings up image browser w. option for adding folder (ie "select folder") Clicking on that causes crash every time. (Windows v 4.11 installed) To clarify -- Selecting "Import>Add Images" opens window w/ option to add entire folders ("Select Folder") clicking on that causes crash every time (for me, at least). Selecting "Import>Add Folders" opens window w/ option to "open" a folder and then open individual or groups of images within which import without problem. Reproducible in digikam5.0.0-beta6 I'm experiencing the same problem. I tried to import Images using "Add Folder", the folder opened. Also recursively many sub folders kept on adding to that main folder, which caused digiKam to hang. (I had to delete the album manually from my Pictures folder and restart.) digiKam 7.0.0 stable release is now published: https://www.digikam.org/news/2020-07-19-7.0.0_release_announcement/ We need a fresh feedback on this file using this version. Best regards Gilles Caulier Same problem than bug #441171 under MacOS. You need to use native file dialog option from Setup/Misc page. Look my last comment : https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=441171#c6 I close this file now. |
