New crash information added by DrKonqi
digikam (2.5.0) on KDE Platform 4.8.5 (4.8.5) using Qt 4.8.1
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
I was tagging new faces.
I also noticed that DigiKam crashes when searching for new faces. I usually let it run as it takes a while, when I came back after a while it had closed off and when I restarted it only approximately a 100 new faces had been added. I was not interacting with the computer at the time.
I am running DigiKam in Gnome (UBUNTU 12.04LTS)

Problem is fixed with new 7.0.0-beta1 through this long story from this bug https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=399923 You can test digiKam 7.0.0-beta1 with bundle available here: https://download.kde.org/unstable/digikam/ Don't hesitate to give us a fresh feedback about his entry.
