Works for me. How do you determine it? In order to "make the window on the other screen active" you'd have to enable separateScreenFocus: false "kcmshell4 kwinoptions", pretty much on the bottom. Otherwise the active screen is just where new windows will spawn (unless they request a specific screen or position) That fixed it. Even though before updating to KDE 4.11 it worked and I did not touch anything. No idea - the setting is false by default and required true to activate a window on the new active screen. No idea why this is configurable or false by default, but it didn't change for a long time. *shrug* I agree that could be an option to drop or at least change the default - it's one of the settings I always change.
