- What I was doing when the application crashed:

This crash occurs always when I delete a selection of more than one message.  It does not occur when deleting a single message.  Deletion is performed using the delete key to send the messages to the trash folder.

- Custom settings of the application:

The IMAP account in question is hosted on a stock Ubuntu 8.04.4 LTS server running dovecot version 1:1.0.10-1ubuntu5.

The crash can be reproduced every time.
