Yes, indeed. We must find a way to visualize the symmetry line(s). They can actually be moved and so on, but without visual feedback, it's just not good enough. There is now an option for this in the multibrush mirror mode / symmetric mode. But this still needs to be this kind of visualization for regular mirror using the normal brush tool. But there is no possibility to switch off symmetry line. It mostly not needed during painting. there is in the multibrush tool. But not with normal symmetry mode and normal brush indeed. perhaps an option in the view menu like 'show perspective grid' or 'show assistants' ? Agreed.
