Hi Thanks, for the bugreport. I can confirm this. I am using KDE 4.10 and kalzium from master. Xorg 1.14. Avogadro 1.1.0 I have unfortunately no clue what could cause that... Etienne Same bug on KDE 4.13.0 with Kalzium 2.4.01. I'm running Kubuntu 14.04 with an AMD Radeon HD 8790M and Catalyst 13.25 driver, and Xorg 7.7 *** Bug 338508 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I'm having the same issue on Kubuntu 14.10. The Kalzium molecule editor window should only a black window, but Avogadro works fine. Here is the Ubuntu bug report: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/323891 My specs: $ lspci | grep -i vga 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Core Processor Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 02) $ cat /etc/issue Ubuntu 14.10 \n \l $ uname -a Linux loathe 3.16.0-37-generic #51-Ubuntu SMP Tue May 5 13:45:59 UTC 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux The molecule editor was ported to Avogadro 2 for the upcoming Kalzium release in December (KDE Applications 16.12). With that version I cannot reproduce the bug. |
